Let’s suppose that you are that most marvelous of clichés, an American in Paris, here for the first time—or enjoying just one visit of many (but when it comes to the best things in life, isn’t every time like the first?) and anxious to share news of your exploits with the folks back home.
This season, to celebrate our roster of designers in the Americans in Paris initiative, we asked participants to send an imaginary postcard back to the States, describings in a few words the magical experience of the City of Light. Except instead of using the boite aux lettres (so last century) we’ve posted the results on Vogue.com for all to see.
