I wasn’t familiar with the term “fool’s spring” until I moved from dry, hot, reliable California to the Midwest, whose weather patterns could be generously described as capricious. The main culprit of erratic weather patterns? Spring.

So, what’s a gal to do when, one minute, it’s sunny and 75, and the next it’s 40 with blustery winds to boot? Zoë Kravitz has an answer.

After an extended stay in Brooklyn, Kravitz has decamped to London with her boyfriend Harry Styles. Today, Kravitz was spotted solo, prepared for all sorts of weather in a layering extravaganza.

Kravitz wore a charcoal gray graphic T-shirt, a pair of slouchy gray trousers, and brown suede loafers as the base of her outfit. Over the tee, she added a black cardigan and a brown suede jacket. London weather—even in the spring—is far chillier than Kravitz’s New York, so she came prepared with a fitted gray beanie and a bright red scarf for a welcome pop of color.

But, at some point during a wide-ranging weather day, Kravitz will inevitably have to shed some of her many layers. Luckily, with The Row’s black woven Amber bag on hand, she’ll have plenty of room for her wintry accoutrements. Perhaps, even, it’s the most important accessory on a fool’s spring day.
