In person awards shows and premieres are on hiatus, but well-dressed women worldwide are wearing their best, regardless of the occasion. As such, they’ve been able to turn everyday occurrences into street style fodder. Every time Irina Shayk takes daughter Lea out, she wears something remarkable, and this week in New York, she showed how supermodels do waterproof dressing. In Chanel’s rain boots, a Burberry Westminster trench coat, and Demellier’s mini bag, Shayk stayed dry while looking like she’d just stepped off a runway.
Video calls aren’t known for their glamour, but The Craft: Legacy star Michelle Monoghan took the idea of dressing for them to the next level. In a floor-length gown from Erdem’s pre-fall 2020 collectsion, Monoghan dazzled during an Instagram Live with pal Aaron Paul. Chilling with a glass of mezcal in her hand while dressed to the nines, the actress was ready for an afterparty, even if it took place in the comfort of her home.
Even when the activity was ambiguous, the outfits were unquestionably chic. Spotted leaving the set of a top-secret project in Los Angeles, Rihanna had fans speculating over which of her many endeavors she was working on. New photoshoot? Fashion film? Music video from that long-awaited ninth album? The star left the enterprise looking better than ever in tie-dyed separates from Chrome Hearts and a pair of sandals from Fenty’s collaboration with Amina Muaddi. Whatever Rihanna has in the pipeline is guaranteed to be exciting, and she’s sure to do it with impeccable style.
