What’s the haircut of 2025? If Phil Oh’s photos from spring 2026 New York Fashion Week are any indication, it’s the bob.

“About 30% of our clients at Maverick House right now have some sort of bob haircut,” says Manhattan-based salon owner and hairstylist Bobby Michael. Obviously, we had to interview somebody with the word bob in their name about this trend, and Michael just happens to shape my very own buccal-fat-skimming cut. “This year haircuts have been trending toward shorter and shorter, with most people wanting their bob to hit at chin length or the lip.”
