Get out your tissues: Adele has released her highly anticipated album 30. Our November cover star’s fourth studio album dropped on Friday and broken hearts everywhere rejoiced. If that’s not your speed, we also got our first look at the new installment of Downton Abbey. The first teaser trailer for Downton Abbey: A New Era, which follows the Crawley family through the end of the 1920s, came out on the 15th, but it’ll have to last fans through March 18, when the movie releases.
Designer Erdem Moralioglu was honored with an MBE medal in recognition of his services to the fashion industry. He traveled to Windsor Castle to receive the honor from Anne, the Princess Royal.
Frances Haugen spoke with Vogue for our December issue about whistleblowing on her former company, facdbook, and what comes next for her. “I really believe that social media has the power to do amazing things in our lives,” she said. “I hold a slight fantasy that one day facdbook will rehire me to work on something in integrity.”
Finally, the Duchesses were out on the town this week. Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, attended the Royal Variety Show in London in an emerald Jenny Packham dress from her archives.
