Photo: Courtesy of Madeline Poole1/8This is after Adam Selman's show. I'm wearing a Miaou dress from her newest collectsion, and it's a perfect example of me being able to wear a neutral, now that I'm a neon-peach Troll doll. I love to remix bags by adding my own hardware. This was just a little bag from Zara, but I attached a ball chain for the handle to make it feel more me. And thankful to Mother Nature for the wind machine!
Photo: Courtesy of Madeline Poole2/8I was so impressed with the location for the Area NYC show: on top of a school in the Lower East Side. It was one of the most beautiful rooftops I've seen in New York. The sun was coming in at the perfect height and was really orange and mellow. I also loved these cutouts from the runway. I had just bought this Dior shirt from Procell because I was running around overdressed, and it turned out to be way hotter than I expected.
Photo: Courtesy of Madeline Poole3/8My fruit clips were one of the biggest hair successes of the week. Carlotta Kohl got them for me in Tokyo about a year ago, and they had been sitting in a drawer unused. When I was getting ready for Sandy Liang's presentation, I put on one of her signature fruit print dresses—and then the clips miraculously fell out of a drawer while I was frantically rummaging around my bathroom.
Photo: Courtesy of Madeline Poole4/8This was taken after Helmut Lang. One thing I'm getting used to is not being able to wash my hair as much so that the color doesn't drain. But as a result, I have to apply a lot of different hair products to make myself look presentable. That's Paloma Elsesser [center] and Ally Marzella; the photo was taken by Emily Sundberg.
Photo: Courtesy of Madeline Poole5/8It's really fun to extend the color palette of my wardrobe. I always took great pride in my color combos—but with salmon-sashimi-colored hair, I have this whole other element that makes it easier for me to incorporate more subtle tones like military green.
Photo: Courtesy of Madeline Poole6/8I went to Sandy Liang's office to play dress up. Everything in there is pastel, so I really fit in. I love the way my hair looks with all the different colors of her fur. I'm also wearing a pair of the International Girl Crew Nike Cortez that I designed with my friends. The line on the heel is a perfect matching neon peach to my hair.
Photo: Courtesy of Madeline Poole7/8I basically wear costume jewelry every day. I love this chunky silver dog collar. It takes every look to the next level.
Photo: Courtesy of Madeline Poole8/8I'm really into the way different hair dos look with this new color—like an orange cinnamon bun on the top of my head.
