Inside Maximilian’s London Fashion Week Bash 

Some uncharacteristically whipping winds and a bit of signature U.K. drizzle couldn’t keep guests from cutting a rug at the after-party celebration for Maximilian. Earlier that day, the 25-year-old London Fashion Week darling and LVMH Prize nominee had wooed his audience with a wide-ranging runway showing, held under the Fashion East incubator, comprised of chalk-stripe tailoring, cerulean skirt sets, and plenty of skimpy Y2K-inspired evening looks. 

Held in The Green Room at The Londoner, a newly-opened “super boutique” hotel in the city’s bustling Leicester Square, it was clear just how loyal the designer’s fans and followers were as they battled the elements, many in the designer’s looks. Donning their Maximillian spring2022 frocks were Paloma Elsesser, Jourdan Dunn, and a seemingly endless coterie of musical talents like Shygirl, Joy Crookes, and Deto Black.

The well-heeled clique stormed the dance floor at the designer’s side at the evening’s start, stepping away occasionally for a cherry spritz or pear and ginger collins cocktail as DJs Ib Kamara and Mischa Notcutt spun singalong hits from the DJ booth.
