1/77Gender Neutrality
Call it the J.W. Effect: Languid, feminine looks were found all over the Fall '15 runways, from Anderson's elongated cuffs (borrowed from his womenswear collectsion) to Rick Owens' drapey tunics, which revealed just enough to eliminate any confusion.

7/77Neck Protection
Maybe it's the growing distaste for neckties, or just that they project a cozy vibe for the winter months, but the turtleneck sweater became the de facto suit pairing of the season.

16/77Animal Instincts
The statement overcoat has never been stronger, whether it's a nappy bouclé, a fuzzy mohair, or one of these beasts. For Calvin Klein Collection, the leopard print added a taste of street to a tailored look, while Saint Laurent used hides to glam effect.

22/77Blacked-Out Eveningwear
Black is so ubiquitous it would be disingenuous to call it a trend—but this season we saw the absence of color strikingly used as something like goth eveningwear at shows like Givenchy and Saint Laurent.

30/77Triple-Layer Lengths
Fall is the season of layering, but this go-around designers wrapped, draped, and elongated the "mid-layer" to create new silhouettes—just don't call it a man skirt.

37/77Pinup Models
Somewhere between punk rock embellishment and military officer decoration, there's this fascinating cluster of pins. It will be good for pocket squares, lapel flowers, and other affectations to take a time-out.

43/77Hides in Plain Sight
Take it as a sign that we're starting to get more comfortable with these post-recession times—real or faux, fur was everywhere. Gosha Rubchinskiy's post-Soviet juvenile looked like he might have lifted it from his grandmother (but in a good way), while Thom Browne's goth dandy was like a foppish Sasquatch.

51/77The Full Look
It worked for women's Pre-Fall…The statement here was, if you're going to go with a print, go all the way.

57/77Shades of Green
As far as menswear inspiration goes, the military is about as influential as it gets. Fall 2015 took tried-and-true shades of army green and applied them in different ways—from Lemaire's sleek and voluminous uniforms to Off-White's rugged, mountaineering-inspired take on streetwear.

64/77Short Shearling
The softer, warmer side of suede made a big impact for Fall '15. The move was to keep it cropped at the waist, furry side out.

70/77Double Outerwear
The trend of the season that looked more like "the way guys really dress" than any other: Be it a short coat under a long coat, a down insulation layer under an overcoat, or two trenches, now is the time for the outerwear obsessed to shine.
