“It was such a special experience being in Mr. Alaïa’s atelier—something I’ll never forget. His designs are like architecture; they’re just so beautiful, and the work that goes into them is exquisite. He’s someone I’ve always admired, so it felt surreal to have him there, fitting the look to me. I loved the black and the transparency. As he was putting me in the dress, he suggested that I wear these floral pants beneath with a rose pattern, and that just added a special element of femininity to the whole look.”

“I’ve been a fan of David Koma’s designs for years, and Mugler was my first show in Paris. To see his work for that label was incredible for me. This dress was the first one that I tried on at the Mugler atelier. The moment I saw it, I knew. I love the color red and incorporate it a lot, either in clothes or with beauty. There’s something very powerful and bold about that shade. The shape of the dress and the gold detailing on the buttons was beautiful. Jeff added the little rabbit fur on top for that extra touch of glamour.”

“Galliano was my first stop in Paris: I headed straight from the plane to the atelier. Going up those stairs was a real moment for me. In the atelier, there were a lot of very feminine, long gowns that were beautiful, but this was one of the shorter looks and it stood out. I loved the added length on the side from the sash. We added a little pop of color with the red lipstick and kept everything else simple so that the focus was on the dress.”

“Giambattista is one of my favorite designers. I’ve always admired his work and had the chance to wear some of his designs to events. This dress was beautiful and very youthful; I love the color white and the freshness and innocence of it. We have a little black via the heels—and even the nails—just to add contrast. The venue of the show was just so beautiful, and this felt like the right choice. I also wore my hair down and in waves this time to complement the look.”

“I loved this Moncler look because it reflects my street style. I have a lot of black and leather within my wardrobe, so this reflected that. When I’m off duty, I tend to keep things monochromatic and simple. The jacket here was so striking, with the sleeves and the zippers. The boots are just my own that I brought with me for the trip.”

“This was a little outside my comfort zone, but I’m so glad we went for it. The theme of the Akris show this season centered on coats. On the runway, there were so many different ones: fur coats, trenches, jackets. It felt nice to wear something that connected with the collectsion’s theme, so we went with this beautiful suede overcoat. Jeff added the belt at the waist to cinch it in and make the look more structured.”
