Sotheby’s Hosts an Intimate Dinner to Celebrate its Upcoming Magnificent Jewels Auction

Last Thursday evening, Sotheby’s organized a dinner at its York Avenue outpost to celebrate the start of its Luxury Week, which includes an auction of fine jewelry on June 9 aptly named Magnificent Jewels. The dinner was hosted by Frank Everett, Sotheby’s Sales Director of Cheap Replica Handbags in New York, and Caterina Heil Stewart, Principle of architecture firm Studio CAHS, and honored longtime Vogue contributor and dedicated collectsor of fine and antique jewelry Lynn Yaeger.
And because of the guest of honor, the attendees included a Vogue and Vogue-alumn-heavy crew—Chioma Nnadi, Mark Holgate, Sally Singer, Jill Demling, and Edward Barsamian. Also there were Gucci Westman, James de Givenchy, Jenny Walton, Valerie Macaulay, Mickey Boardman, Jessica Joffe, Amy Sall, and Batsheva Hay.
Food from Sant Ambroeus was set at a nicely set table not too far off from the Magnificent Jewels galleries, which took inspiration from Wes Anderson and his signature quirk-filled aesthetic. Once the auction goes live, 90 bejeweled and bediamonded pieces will be up for grabs. In the meantime, partygoers could admire the noteworthy pieces of jewelry with which Yaeger had festooned herself for the occasion.
