Inside Tessa Thompson’s Dreamy Dior Couture Experience

When Tessa Thompson isn’t busy saving the universe in Marvel movies or outwitting androids on Westworld, the actress makes time to enjoy the very best in fashion. Thompson’s fearless style and ability to pull off outré looks make her a natural fit for haute couture, and this season she enjoyed the cream of the crop sitting front row at Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior collectsion. Created in collaboration with the feminist artist Judy Chicago, it tackled the relationship between creativity and femininity, a subject Thompson understands implicitly. Seated in The Female Divine, the immersive, womb like structure outside the Museé Rodin created by Chicago as the show's venue, with Björk’s “All is Full of Love” blasting in the background, she basked in the beauty of a one of a kind show.  
 Of course, it wasn’t all haute grandeur. Joined by her stylists, Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, Thompson went on a fun-filled romp through Paris. From checking out exclusive micro purses to taking in the intimate post-show dinner hosted by Grazia Chiuri and Chicago, Thompson made the most of couture. Here, the actress takes Vogue along for the ride in an exclusive diary.
