On the heels of New York Fashion Week and during this year's Climate Week, Samsung has announced plans to throw a fashion show of its own. The show will be hosted by fashion designer Nicole McLaughlin, famously known for her viral footwear designs made from scraps which caught the attention of Vogue back in 2018. It will feature sustainable fashion and tech from TikTok famous upcycling designers including Andrew Burgess (@Wandythemaker), Anna Molinari (@annamolinstinct), Chris Mena (@madebymena), Gabrielle Mendoza (@delikadodesigner) and more.
The show will take place at Samsung's expansive flagship store in Meatpacking District, Samsung 837, on Tuesday, September 20th at 5pm. To learn more, click here. And for those who can't attend the event in person, you can get involved in their TikTok challenge #RecycleUp and showcase how you're making fashion sustainable for a chance to win some fun tech from Samsung.
