The Best Dressed Stars of the Week Made a Splashy Return to the Red Carpet

This week, the SAG-AFTRA Hollywood strikes officially ended after four months—meaning, glamorous premieres and red carpet events are ready to roar up again. Naturally, it didn’t take long for A-listers to hit some step and repeats. The best dressed stars of the week were those who made a splashy return to dressing for the paparazzi, choosing formal looks that made a statement with head-turning finishes.

At the premiere of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes in London, Hunter Schafer dazzled in a custom Prada look that included a metal satin golden bra top and skirt; Co-star Rachel Zegler, meanwhile, went more demure in her black lace Christian Dior gown. There was a real emphasis on texture this week: Anne Hathaway also shined at the CFDAs in her red Rodarte gown with floral appliqués, while Kim Kardashian opted for head-to-toe crystals in her Skims x Swarovski look.

Even the week’s more quiet ensembles made an impact. At the 2023 Baby2Baby Gala in L.A. last night, for one, Hailey Bieber chose a sleek black Saint Laurent gown that was all about the open back. At the CFDAs, Chloë Sevigny also allowed a great color—bright yellow!—to make her Christopher John Rogers frock shine. Given this week was just the first week back following the strike, we simply can’t wait to see what other A-listers continue to wear.
