While it's tempting to adhere to the season's trends, sometimes stepping away from what's considered fashionable produces spectacular results. This week's best dressed boldly went against the standard—wearing a black shift dress in the middle of summer or an all-white pantsuit for an evening gala—and proved, refreshingly, that style isn't about what you wear, but how you wear it.
