There are moments of magic amid the madness backstage. Here are 50 of them captured by our intrepid photographers Corey Tenold and Jason Lloyd-Evans during the Spring 2020 season. Many have a candid quality that captures not only the ephemerality of the moment but of fashion itself.

Many designers experimented with new, theatrical formats this season, but the atmosphere behind the scenes remains largely unchanged: the hours spent in hair and makeup, the selfies, the energy of the first looks. In ecstatic color our photographers have documented it all. Enjoy.
