Adeam Celebrated its Madison Avenue Pop-Up With a Summery Cocktail Party

Tuesday night, Tokyo came to Manhattan. Adeam celebrated its Madison Avenue pop-up with a soiree that reflected the brand’s global influences. Charlotte Groeneveld hosted the festivities on behalf of designer Hanako Maeda. Growing up between New York and Tokyo, Maeda launched Adeam in 2012 and the line reflects that east-meets-west sensibility.

Expositions of poppies and mountains of moss transformed the minimalist, wood-paneled space. Trays of summertime treats, including shrimp ceviche and asparagus roles, circulated the energetic room. Revelers included Ruby Aldridge and Maria Borges.

The evening also marked the launch of the brand’s collaboration with Carolyn Murphy. The supermodel teamed up with Maeda to create pieces that reflect their shared admiration for Japanese culture and commitment to sustainability. The shop, commanding two floors and spreading across 2500 square feet, will remain until the end of July.
