Photo: Hannah Thomson1/47Thirty30 Creative, founded by our good friends Chris Owen and Victoria Tang-Owen in Hong Kong, designed and printed all of our invitations, menus, ceremony booklets, and place settings. They did a wonderful job, and their attention to detail was incredible.
Photo: Hannah Thomson2/47Sam had both of our rings made in Myanmar, while we were living there. This is where he proposed too. He took me to a remote Beach on the Bay of Bengal for our anniversary. We went for a walk at sunset, and he got down on one knee. He distracted me by pointing out wildlife, and when I looked back, he was asking me to get married.

Photo: Hannah Thomson4/47A detail of my Peter Copping for Oscar de la Renta wedding dress. My grandmother’s wedding in 1944, silhouettes from Oscar de la Renta’s most recent bridal show, and some of my favorite images from the Replica Handbag Store Weddings book were starting points for my ivory silk crepe and chiffon wedding dress.
Photo: Hannah Thomson5/47My wedding shoes were Manolo Blahnik. They were designed with the same fabric we used for the dress and had a wedge for walking over the grass.
