The 2026 Winter Olympics—officially known as the XXV Olympic Winter Games—sees immense sporting talent take to the world stage. They’re athletes and they’re superstars, all with their own stories—and some of them are choosing to show that through their very, very cool beauty choices. Take Canadian figure skater Piper Gilles and her icy, sparkly triple hair clips, which she paired with fun, multicolor eyeliner flicks and a cherry red lip—the glam made her high-drama, high-octane routine pop all the more. Among so many nationalities, sparkle was the spoken language for many: Team USA’s Jessie Diggins competed in the women’s cross country with blue glitter atop her cheeks and sprinkled across her glasses. Then there was Italy’s speed skater champion Francesca Lollobrigida, who netted the country’s first gold medal of the season while swiping her neon green nails through the air to victory—and a game record!
