An otherworldly Chappell Roan took to the stage in Mexico City with red-stained teeth and skin with an aurora borealis-sheen, while Gillian Anderson shared her ’70s-inspired slash of pink lippie and blue eyeshadow from the set of her TV series Trespasses. Isabela Merced popped her hood up and let her femme fatale glam do all the talking at the Governors Ball, while Anya Taylor-Joy allowed her heavenly complexion to shine. On the nail front this week, we were feeling inspired by the crystal-studded and hand-sculpted designs—perfect for feeling festive. (Yep, it’s time.)

When it came to Roan’s Corona Capital performance in Mexico City, her stylist Genesis Webb was keen to tap into the screaming banshee, the mythical folklore figure that foretells death. So, the look had to be McQueen. Glam reflected that same realm. Dee Carrion created an ultra-skinny brow, a celestial complexion, and gothic red teeth, while Lacy Redway crafted the deep red wig from Roan’s “The Subway” video.
