Last night we witnessed the grand finale of awards season: the 2026 Oscars. At the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, Conan O’Brien hosted the ceremony for the second year in a row. And what came to define the 98th annual Academy Awards? Historic wins, awkward jokes, and of course, the fashion.

The stars of critical darlings Sinners, Hamnet, One Battle After Another, Marty Supreme, and Sentimental Value pulled out all the fashion stops: there were custom designs, debuts, re-ups (for a second year in a row, both Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet stayed loyal to Givenchy by Sarah Burton), and more than a few beauty transformations.

The attendee list was also equal parts starry and surprising. Couples moments were a big deal: Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams got cozy on the red carpet, while Kylie Jenner skipped it to keep on supporting Chalamet from the inside.
