Though the slow shift toward friendlier weather often elicits an easy approach to hair and makeup, this week’s best beauty looks centered on polish—and ample dustings of blush-toned eyeshadow. Makeup ranged from nearly naked—see Anne Hathaway’s fresh and romantic mascara-only look and finger-raked updo—to vampish, with Stella Maxwell’s exaggerated cat-eye traced in onyx. But it was Rooney Mara’s new sleek, side-parted pixie that stole the scene this week: The actress attended the premiere of The Discovery with her chestnut lengths lopped at the neck for a dramatic, head-turning effect.
