Photo: Gianny Campos1/28We had our rehearsal dinner at Mandolin because it’s a perennial family favorite when we’re in Miami.
Photo: Gianny Campos2/28I wore a custom-made Naeem Khan one shoulder dress with a long free flowing cape. I had a lot of fun wearing that dress and playing with the versatility of the cape. My earrings were by Ranjana Khan and my clutch was custom made for me by the Naeem Khan team with my name and wedding date engraved on it.

Photo: Gianny Campos4/28The food at Mandolin's is consistently good and the ambiance is romantic and unfussy.
Photo: Gianny Campos5/28The flower in my hair was found as I was walking into the venue by our officiant Michele Oka Doner – I put it in my hair last minute because it was so fragrant and I felt it was a good omen for the day to come.

Photo: Gianny Campos7/28I’m fortunate that I’ve had such a good group of women in my life, many of which were in my bridal party, including my two older sisters and my friends from LA and NY, who I feel are like my sisters.
Photo: Gianny Campos8/28The night of the rehearsal dinner, there were many loving and humorous speeches by friends and family, and one of our friends put together a very thoughtful and sweet video for us.

Photo: Gianny Campos10/28My dress was custom made and designed by my father-in-law Naeem Khan.
Photo: Gianny Campos11/28Our three-dimensional invitations were created by Fancy That and featured a coral reef embossment, which tied in with our “garden by the sea” theme. My earrings, designed by my mother-in-law, Ranjana Khan, were created with raw diamonds, 18K gold, and South Sea pearls. Pearls are my birthstone, so I’ve always had a strong affinity for them, and they incidentally worked well with our theme. My wedding and engagement rings were custom designed by our family friends, Carelle jewelers. The ring box was a vintage find and worked so well with our sea theme.
Photo: Gianny Campos12/28I love this shot of my parents surrounded by the groomsmen. They look so happy and were enjoying the moment.
Photo: Gianny Campos13/28I loved how beautiful the altar for our wedding turned out. Our florist Jenevieve did an incredible job.
Photo: Gianny Campos14/28My parents have always been an instrumental part of my life, constantly providing love and emotional support. This wedding would not have been possible without them, or my wonderful in-laws who are like my second set of parents.
Photo: Gianny Campos15/28We paired Zaheen’s younger brother Shariq, who was the best man, with my eldest sister Sidra, who was my Matron of Honor. My other sister Maeda was my Maid of Honor, and my niece Alina was our flower girl.
Photo: Gianny Campos16/28My father is my biggest role model and the kindest and most generous dad a girl could ask for. It was a very special moment having him walk me down the aisle. I chose to walk down the aisle to a live instrumental version of “She’s A Rainbow” by The Rolling Stones and the bridal party walked down to a live rendition of “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles.
Photo: Gianny Campos17/28Everyone strongly advised us to have our ceremony indoors due to the forecasted rain, but my gut told me it would hold up for us, and it did! It was an incredible feeling having Mother Nature on our side.
Photo: Gianny Campos18/28A quiet moment to ourselves before dinner and dancing ensued.
Photo: Gianny Campos19/28Our groomsmen and bridesmaids were comprised of our siblings and close friends from California and New York. Our sweet and beautiful flower girl in her custom Naeem Khan dress was my niece Alina Kureshi.

Photo: Gianny Campos24/28The incredible décor for our tabletops came together through a collaborative effort by our families, Le Basque, and our florist Jenevieve. They perfectly brought our “garden by the sea” theme to life better than I could have imagined. My mother-in-law worked tirelessly with our dear friend Chiqui Echavarria of Casa Chiqui in Cartagena, Colombia to create these custom mochila bags in both pink and white for all our female guests. They also created custom sandals with pom poms for guests to change into before hitting the dance floor.

Photo: Gianny Campos27/28Jenevieve and Naeem surprised us by covering the entire tent in dripping moss—it was so whimsical and unique.
Photo: Gianny Campos28/28At the end of the night I changed into a short gold, fringe dress by Naeem Khan and paired it with a Magnetic Midnight crown made by our friend Lucia Echavarria. It was the perfect look to end the night in!
