Despite the glitz of Paris Fashion Week, the world’s eyes are still trained on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Some designers, models, and creatives have rallied around the Ukrainian cause. Our Paris Fashion Week photographer, Acielle, captured two people carrying a flag near the shows.
Rihanna went viral when she attended the Dior fall 2022 show dressed in a sheer Maria Grazia Chiuri babydoll dress and a black coat. Her maternity looks have consistently bucked tradition, but this was her most daring yet. Off-White staged its latest show with the debut of it’s high fashion collectsion, a couture collectsion, “designed by Virgil and completed by the creative teams and collaborators with whom he worked,” according to show notes. It was a fitting tribute to the designer who passed at the age of 41.
The Screen Actors Guild Awards took place on Sunday, with CODA, Succession, and Ted Lasso taking home some of the night’s biggest awards. The red carpet was resplendent with beautiful gowns, as per usual.
Finally, we bid adieu (for now) to the teens of Euphoria and their stress-inducing drama. It’ll be a while before we see Rue, Maddy, Cassie, Lexi, and Fezco again, but this season gave us more than enough to talk about. May even last us all year.
