There were plenty of happenings this past week that ranged from Met gala news to the royals in England to the celebration of Earth Day. As for the Met gala, the hosts for the livestream are charismatic fashion lovers: editor-in-chief of World of Interiors and Vogue editor at large Hamish Bowles and actors Vanessa Hudgens and Lala Anthony. In other words, get ready to be chicly entertained.
Speaking of charismatic fashion lovers, Harry Styles sent out style shockwaves at Coachella last weekend with his fully sequined jumpsuit that included a diving decolletage. Of course, the look was created none other than by Gucci. A dazzling darling, indeed. Another Brit to make the news was Queen Elizabeth II, who celebrated her 96th birthday with an elegant portrait of her posing with her two beloved ponies.
And let’s not forget Earth Day. One of the most poignant moments was a story about the Kichwa Indigenous women of the Ecuadorian Amazon who practice a storied tradition of face painting.
Finally, for those who love The King aka Elvis, you’re in luck. Actor Austin Butler is playing the talented heartthrob in the biopic Elvis, which is directed by Baz Luhrmann.
