Images of the Week: Lena Dunham Gets Married! 

For his 10 year anniversary with the house of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing went big. Really big. The collectsion was displayed as part of a two-day music festival hosted by the French house, with supermodels like Naomi Campbell and Carla Bruni walking for a crowd of 6,000 people (not just an insular crew of fashion insiders.) Community was trending at Paris Fashion Week, as Valentino hosted their spring 2022 show at the Carreau du Temple which continued onto the city streets. 

In the United Kingdom, the Duchess of Cambridge headed to the premiere of the latest installment of the James Bond saga, No Time to Die. In a custom Jenny Packham golden dress, she looked like a Bond Girl herself. Lena Dunham also glowed as she got married to musician Luis Felber in an intimate ceremony at Union Club in Soho, London. Taylor Swift and Tommy Dorfman both donned custom silver Christopher Kane bridesmaids dresses, to complement Dunham’s three wedding dresses, also by Kane. 

Across the pond, Britney Spears celebrated a long-awaited victory. Her father, Jamie, was removed as her conservator. The singer posted a photo on Instagram of herself flying a plane with the notable caption, “On cloud nine right now.” Finally, at the Tony Awards on Sunday The Inheritance took home the award for Best Play. The playwright, Matthew López, became the first Latino to ever win the award. Below, see the images of the week.
