Congratulations are in order for several big stars. First off, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas announced the birth of their second child, a baby girl. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Willa, in 2020. Maria Sharapova also had her first child this week. The tennis star and her fiancé Alexander Gilkes revealed that they had a son named Theodore on Instagram on Friday.
In the world of tennis legends, Novak Djokovic triumphed at Wimbledon on Sunday, besting Australian player Nick Kyrgios. It was Djokovic’s 21st Grand Slam win.
The Emmy nominations are out, and Succession leads the pack with 25 nominations. In the Lead Actress in a Drama Series category, Zendaya and Reese Witherspoon were recognized for their work in Euphoria and The Morning Show, respectively. As for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, Elle Fanning picked up a nod for The Great as did Issa Rae for Insecure.
Finally, Sophia Bush’s Tulsa wedding to Grant Hughes was featured in Vogue this week. Bush and Hughes wanted to celebrate the city’s history and resilience.
