An Exclusive Look Inside the 2022 Met Gala

After hours of getting ready in their gilded glamour best, making their way through New York City traffic, and ascending the cacophonous red carpet, celebrities, fashion designers, and other notables finally entered the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Great Hall for the 2022 Met Gala. Greeting them? The artistic lenses of Hunter Abrams and Flo Ngala.

The two photographers roamed the museum throughout fashion’s biggest night, capturing everyone from Lizzo to Tom Ford to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Hellos—and moments of mutual outfit admiration—were had in front of the Statue of Liberty centerpiece as an orchestra played on. Kim Kardashian posed with Pete Davidson wearing Marilyn Monroe's iconic “Happy Birthday Mr. President” dress. Amy Schumer kept her sunglasses on during cocktail hour at The Charles Engelhard Court in The American Wing. Gigi Hadid caught up with friends Hailey Bieber and Naomi Campbell. Kendall Jenner maneuvered her massive Prada train and Alton Mason twirled his cape through the museum’s galleries.
