Photo: Nathan Coe1/31Helping my mother with last-minute touches and accessorizing her beautiful custom dress by Dallas designer Tish Cox. The day was spent relaxing, chatting with all my girls, and getting ready with my beauty team from Eva Scrivo. I was not nervous for one second!
Photo: Nathan Coe2/31When I initially spoke with our photographer, Nathan Coe, I had mentioned that we weren’t really interested in formal or staged portraits, as I wanted our photographs to feel organic. The light coming into the house at this moment was too good not to take one of those said portraits.

Photo: Nathan Coe4/31My father and I rode to the ceremony in this beautiful 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, a surprise from my parents. Riding in a Rolls-Royce felt like being in an old film!

Photo: Nathan Coe7/31The chapel sits at the end of the quad, which is the center of the Millbrook campus and where graduation takes place. Photographer Nathan Coe had us walk the length in order to capture us walking up to the chapel doors. I got quite emotional during that journey because I thought about all my wonderful memories as a student.
Photo: Nathan Coe8/31The simplicity of the Flagler Memorial Chapel, inside and out, is truly stunning. It is the quintessentially quaint white chapel, in my eyes. Good friend Ariel Dearie of Ariel Dearie Flowers created arrangements that were absolutely stunning—they were powerful without overwhelming the space. I so admire here sense of proportion and scale and her respect for the surrounding environment.
Photo: Nathan Coe9/31I think about this moment of walking down the aisle every day, so that I will never forget it and because I had been dreaming about it since I can remember. The love that I felt at that moment was indescribable—for Matty, of course, and for all our people surrounding us.
Photo: Nathan Coe10/31We were married by Rev. Cameron Hardy, who is the wife of my art teacher from Millbrook. The Hardys hold a very special place in my heart, so being married by Cam was an honor.
Photo: Nathan Coe11/31Everything went by so quickly. I felt like I had blinked and all of a sudden Matty was kissing the bride!

Photo: Nathan Coe14/31Early on in the planning, I had this crazy fixation on having all the cocktails served on vintage Italian trays, so my mother and I went on a search-and-buy rampage. We ended up with just enough, and this tiny one served as the bride-and-groom tray.
Photo: Nathan Coe15/31With all my gorgeous girls. I had always known that I did not want my bridesmaids to wear the same thing, so I let them choose their dresses, giving them a color palette and a few other guidelines. I love that they looked individual and like themselves.
Photo: Nathan Coe16/31And another, but at this point I had asked not to mess up the makeup!

Photo: Nathan Coe18/31There is nothing like the top of a Sperry tent!
Photo: Nathan Coe19/31The centerpieces by Ariel Dearie were truly magical. What drew us to her was her meandering, natural style—nothing about her work is fussy—and it’s timeless.
Photo: Nathan Coe20/31I have a thing for the color chartreuse, thanks to my grandmother, so it was the obvious choice when it came to picking a table linen color.
Photo: Nathan Coe21/31This is one of my favorite photos ever taken of my parents. I also love that you can see the back detail of my mother’s beautiful dress.
Photo: Nathan Coe22/31Some of my favorite ladies of leisure. We had antique settees, daybeds, and chairs sprinkled about.
Photo: Nathan Coe23/31Love the contrast of textures and patterns in this shot.

Photo: Nathan Coe29/31For our father-daughter dance, we chose “Sweet Baby James” by James Taylor. We’re not the greatest of dancers, and we were both really nervous about our dance together in front of 255 people. By the end my mother and brother joined us.
Photo: Nathan Coe30/31Everyone was really feeling the SoulSations, our band from Memphis. There was never a moment when the dance floor was empty. We ended up having them stay two more hours!
Photo: Nathan Coe31/31Dancing to Leon Bridges’s “River,” which the sweet band learned for us. We did not take any lessons or practice at all. Thankfully, Matty is a great dancer—and I do a great job of letting him lead!
