Photo: Silvia Foz1/19The amazing stylist Bobbie Yanoupeth, who does the hair for all of the Cushnie et Ochs pre-collectsions, knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding in Jamaica.
Part of my wedding glow was thanks to makeup artist Michael Anthony, whom I also work with.
Photo: Silvia Foz2/19Matthew’s present to me was a custom set of white-gold bands. One was set with white diamonds and one with black diamonds from Concierge Diamonds in Los Angeles. The bands are meant to be worn in place of my engagement ring and wedding ring when I travel abroad.

Our team at Cushnie et Ochs custom-made my gown. It was an exciting challenge and a welcomed departure from what we normally do.
Carly is wearing a pair of Jennifer Fisher double knot bracelets in gold and silver that I gave her as a gift for being my maid of honor.
Photo: Silvia Foz4/19Beard or no beard for the groom? That was the debate leading up to the wedding. I was happy he ultimately decided to keep it because not having it would have made him seem too clean-cut and not like himself.
Photo: Silvia Foz5/19My beautiful heels were by Christian Louboutin. I had them before I even knew what the dress would look like, and I fell in love with them so much that I had the embroidery mimic the design on my dress.
Photo: Silvia Foz6/19Carly putting the finishing touches on my look. It was just like backstage when we have a lot of girls to get dressed before a show. She and I have a lot of practice putting other people’s shoes on.
Photo: Silvia Foz7/19We opted for a jumpsuit for Carly’s maid of honor attire. It was unexpected and felt more like the overall laid-back vibe we were going for.
Photo: Silvia Foz8/19I am not a huge flower kind of girl, and while it was certainly stunning, I was not at all prepared for how heavy the bouquet would be.
Photo: Silvia Foz9/19During the ceremony, the weather was perfect and the atmosphere all around us was so beautiful that I truly didn’t know where to look.
Photo: Silvia Foz10/19It was nice signing our license as part of the ceremony because we really felt, together, that it was happening right then and there. It was official! The lawyer in my husband loved that moment, and in his words it was “like closing a deal.”
Photo: Silvia Foz11/19Everything happened so fast, and it took a while for it to really sink in.
Photo: Silvia Foz12/19This was our first moment alone after it all went down.
Photo: Silvia Foz13/19My heart was still racing when this portrait was taken post-ceremony on the balcony.
Photo: Silvia Foz14/19The tables for dinner were set with lovely centerpieces made with hydrangeas, garden roses, poppy flowers, and dusty miller leaves. It was a nice contrast to the less-formal family-style dining. We also wanted to set the tables this way so that guests could easily interact with one another.
Photo: Silvia Foz15/19The Flower Hill villa really provided the most wonderful backdrop for our portraits together, so we didn’t have to venture out anywhere to shoot them.
Photo: Silvia Foz16/19The menu was all about authentic Jamaican food. We had dishes like jerk-marinated boneless chicken thighs and fried plantains with basmati rice and peas. For many of our guests, this was their first time in Jamaica, and we really wanted them to experience its incredible food and culture.
Photo: Silvia Foz17/19The spectacular wedding cake, which had a filling of Jamaican fruitcake.
Photo: Silvia Foz18/19Our wedding planner, Melanie Miller, did an amazing job creating the thoughtful, family-centric feeling we were going for—even long into the evening.
Photo: Silvia Foz19/19This was the first moment when we were announced as man and wife. When we walked into the tent is when everything really set in for me. It was also finally time to dance the night away.
