Sasha Lane
Chances are you’re already familiar with American Honey actress Lane, who has appeared in ad campaigns for Louis Vuitton and sat front row at the brand’s Fall ’17 show. Not just any girl has what it takes to becomes a Nicolas Ghesquière muse. With off-kilter personal style and daring beauty looks—from cat-eye makeup to dreadlock double buns—she’s topping our list as a cool, fiercely unique style star to watch.

Leo Maribo Jensen and Ina Maribo Jensen"
The Hadids and Kardashians aren’t the only stylish siblings out there. Brother-and-sister models Ina and Leo have nearly identical haircuts and complementary style: Ina favors statement outerwear and Vans, while Leo opts for classic tailoring, super-skinny jeans, and even Chanel bags. It’s rare to see them together on the street, but we’re crossing our fingers for Spring ’18, especially with so many combined men’s and women’s shows on the schedule.

Naomi Shimada
Who’s that cute girl in Marques‘Almeida? It’s Shimada, and she’s not an editor or buyer. The filmmaker, activist, and model is relatively new to the fashion show circuit and has been making headlines for her body-positive and feminist work. We’re applauding her eye for color, too—pink, green, and red never looked so good.

Jess PW
Model-off-duty style has been written about so often it’s all but lost its meaning, but some girls take it to a new level. Australian model Jess PW made a big splash last season and was everywhere during the Fall ’17 shows, including the runways of Valentino and Alexander McQueen as well as the streets. This NYFW look of hers made us do a double take, from those oversize John Lennon specs down to her ultra-wide bubblegum pink pants.

Radhika Nair
Named one of the breakout models of Fall ’17, Indian beauty Nair has serious style cred, too. While it takes some models a few seasons of living and breathing high fashion to hone their personal aesthetic, Nair already has a cool, confident, and unique look marked by interesting trousers—this isn’t the only pair of holey pants she has worn—bold colors, and a distinctive haircut.

Sohyun Jung, Sora Choi, and Yoon Young BaeVogue’s own Phil Oh anointed this trio “the new gen of Korean girls.” You might recognize Choi, who’s become a regular in Vogue’s street style slideshows, but her friends Jung and Bae are two models to watch out for as well. Jung’s signature buzz cut and streetwise attitude made her a shoo-in for the Alexander Wang show, while Bae has a thing for girly dresses, ruffled sneakers, and OTT furs.

Megan Reynolds
While the rest of the fashion flock toys with streetwear, shredded jeans, and puffers, Reynolds makes the case for bringing back a classic and sophisticated look. As the market director of MatchesFashion.com, she sees it all, which makes her simple accessories and chic outwear even more convincing.

Selah Marley
As Lauryn Hill’s daughter, Marley was destined to be cool, and you can expect to see a lot more of her in the coming seasons. For Fall ’17, she got a 360-degree view of fashion after walking for Yeezy and Chanel and sitting front row at Coach and Marc Jacobs. Despite having her mom’s epic wardrobe to borrow from, she looked cool and low-key in coveralls, cap, and gold jewelry at the New York shows.

Mayowa Nicholas and Alex Crush
The streets of Paris aren’t the only place you’ll find on-the-rise model Nicholas. Hailing from Nigeria, she returned home to participate in Lagos Fashion and Design Week last October and even shot a video with Vogue. Crush is even newer to the scene—he has walked for Gypsy Sport and Hood By Air, arguably two of the most exciting brands in New York right now. With his unconventional look and Kanye-esque monochromatic style, you’re guaranteed to see more of him on the runaways in the coming seasons.
