Prabal Gurung, Public School, Everlane, and Opening Ceremony Launch ACLU "Speak Up" Pop-Up in Miami

Though the sun had already set at The Standard Spa by the time guests arrived to the ACLU’s "Speak Up" celebration, a strong glow from both the South Beach and Wynwood skylines kept members of the art and fashion communities warmlys lit. The gathering was hosted to honor the ACLU’s latest efforts, which include a pop-up at the island-situated hotel for the non-profit’s “Speak Up” campaign. Everyone from Prabal Gurung and Public School to Everlane and Opening Ceremony contributed limited-edition works that can only be purchased on site, for the time being. The candlelit event also ushered in the ACLU’s artist partnerships, featuring the likes of Shepard Fairey, Mickalene Thomas, the Haas Brothers, and Daniel Arsham. As a cocktail hour shifted to a seated dinner bayside, prepared by Angela Dimayuga, the charitable event was a welcome reprieve from the bacchanalia of Miami Art Week.
