The Best Runway Backstage Photos of 2023

This year, Vogue Runway’s backstage photographers went more places than ever to document all the behind-the-scenes happenings at the shows. From New York to London, Milan, Paris, and Copenhagen, they captured the best model squads (Shalom, Maggie, Irina, and Amber, anyone?!), and all sorts of model vibe checks, Gen Z hearts included.

Beyond the normal fashion month circuit, they ventured to some pretty special places, hitting up Versailles to snap Gigi, Kendall, and Simon Porte Jacquemus at his fall 2023 ready-to-wear show, and Manchester for Chanel’s Métiers d’Art takeover of the English city.
