The​ ​Cultivist​ Hosts Its Third Annual Artist Lunch at Art Basel Miami Beach

It wouldn’t be a trip to Art Basel Miami Beach without an afternoon with The Cultivist. The members-only art club that helps people discover museums and galleries around the world is known for hosting fabulous events that create unique experiences for guests. Whether it’s a private tour of a buzzy new exhibit at the Guggenheim or an all-out house party with performance art demonstrations and an art-centric scavenger hunt, members have come to expect the unexpected when hanging out with The Cultivist. So when cofounder Marlies Verhoeven Reijtenbagh and director of membership Laura de Gunzburg threw the group’s third annual artist lunch on Thursday in Miami—along with artist hosts Daniel Arsham, Glenn Kaino, Rujeko Hockley, Zoë Buckman, Harold Mendez, Dread Scott, Cheryl Pope, and Chloe Wise—invitees were eager to see what their favorite art club had in store at The Setai.
