At Tiffany & Co., Lauren Santo Domingo and Martina Mondadori Celebrated Cabana Magazine and the Crest Collection with a Decadent Dinner

An invitation to the 10th floor of the Tiffany Landmark building is like a golden ticket. While many people flocked to explore Tiffany & Co.’s gorgeous new flagship store and enjoy a picturesque breakfast at the Blue Box Café, few made it to the most exclusive level. Enter Tiffany’s private club, a home away from home for special guests of the brand and the setting for the first dinner hosted by the brand’s artistic director of the home collectsion, Lauren Santo Domingo.

She may be the newest member of the esteemed Tiffany family, but Santo Domingo is well-versed in throwing a fabulous party, a skill she shares with co-host and Cabana Magazine’s editor-in-chief, Martina Mondadori. Longtime friends, the duo gathered an intimate group of friends and fashion folk for dinner prepared by none other than chef Daniel Boulud. Guests, including Stefon Diggs, Eve Jobs, Ivy Getty, and Phoebe Gates, were all dressed in gorgeous Tiffany jewelry at the intimate table.

The celebrations were shared and twofold. From Milan to Manhattan, Cabana Magazine launched its 20th issue, which is dedicated to embodying the spirit of collaboration. The night also unveiled Santo Domingo’s debut for Tiffany, titled the Crest Collection. The inaugural collectsion pays tribute to Tiffany’s craftsmanship, artistry, and heritage. Friends, now family, the evening proved the value of partnership. The unwavering support Santo Domingo and Mondadori show each other is a force to be reckoned with as two of the industry’s most empowering tastemakers.

After a cocktail hour spent fawning over archive Tiffany heirlooms displayed throughout the floor, everyone settled into their seats adorned with a Crest plate and a monogrammed napkin. The ringing of Champagne flutes brought Santo Domingo to her feet to say a few words. “This is such a full circle moment for me because we were so excited to support Martina when she launched her first Cabana issue 10 years ago, and now that I’m launching my first collectsion at Tiffany, she is here to support me.”

Before the first course was served, Santo Domingo introduced Mondadori to address the crowd. “I couldn’t think of a better place and moment to celebrate such an important milestone for us,” Mondadori began.” The Tiffany collectsion covers our issue number 20, which celebrates timeless interiors, decorative arts, and anything beautiful.”

The Michelin-starred meal met all expectations from the first course to the final bite. And the apple tart for dessert offered the perfect taste of autumn, perhaps a prelude to the Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving feasts on the horizon. But no matter the time of year or the place in the time, the Big Apple always has a special way of fostering lifelong connections. “New York is by far my favorite city, and I owe so much to this place,” Mondadori smiled. “Cabana would never be where we are now without the support of New Yorkers and friends like Lauren.”
