[Bob] The purpose of this video is to teach you

the game of shuffleboard.

All you really need to play this game is

a court, a cue, a disc, and a lot of desire.

It also helps to have a good friend.

Harwood and I have been playing shuffleboard

together for 32 years.

We've played a lot of sports in our day,

none could compare to the challenge and

the excitement that this game provides.

To play, very simply, a disc is propelled

down the court using a cue.

The cue you see Bob holding is

a wooden device no longer than six foot three.

Bob, as you can see, is waiting for our match today.

Here you can see bob holding the cue,

lining up, and delivering the shot.

Let's talk about some game educate.

Harwood is seated quietly,

concentrating on the game,

and holding his cue in an upright position.

This is done to not distract from the players

that are shooting.
