At the 2026 Oscars last night, One Battle After Another star Chase Infiniti marked her very first time attending the splashy Hollywood awards ceremony—and it was certainly not a bad debut for the actor, given her Paul Thomas Anderson film went on to win best picture. “I’ve been dreaming about this my whole life, so I just felt blessed to be there,” Infiniti tells Vogue. “I was so excited—it’s the Oscars!!”
Though Infiniti had yet to attend the Academy Awards, you would never guess so based on her red carpet look last night: Infiniti was sure to dress the part of a Hollywood starlet in her custom Louis Vuitton. (Then again, she is a true rising red carpet star: Did you really expect anything less fabulous?)
Styled by Wayman and Micah, Infiniti landed on a custom lavender Louis Vuitton silk dress. It was finished with an asymmetric, multilayered frill detail that was elegantly draped down the side. The colorful design took over 750 hours of work to construct. “Wayman and Micah are absolute geniuses,” says Infiniti. “Putting together the look for a moment like this was such a fun, beautiful, layered process. We went through [a few] fittings to make sure everything fit perfectly. Each iteration felt like we were fine-tuning a piece of art.”
As for accessories, Infiniti wore her best diamond jewelry for the affair. (Because it simply wouldn’t be an Oscars look without a diamond—or several.) Most notably, the actor wore a De Beers London Summer choker necklace from the house’s Metamorphosis 2023 couture collectsion.
The striking piece features a 9.06-carat fancy intense yellow cushion diamond at its center, with a total of 57.15 carats all set in 18-karat yellow and white gold. “I loved how the yellow cushion-cut diamond complemented the lavender color of my dress,” says Infiniti. “When it came to selecting the jewelry, the decision felt very intuitive. We wanted the De Beers London pieces to speak to the dress, and help communicate the overall energy of the look.”
Hair stylist Coree Moreno gave Infiniti long, flowing braids that matched the ethereal vibe of her dress. “The vibes were ethereal, and with a bit of whimsy,” says Moreno. “We wanted a culture shift with braids, but a long, flowing airiness—nothing’s forced or heavy. Youth and freshness is always at the forefront when creating red carpet looks for Chase.”
Infiniti’s Oscars look this evening concludes what has been a thrilling awards season run for the star. Across her countless red carpets, Infiniti has worn many memorable looks from Louis Vuitton (she is an ambassador for the label), including her nude body-hugging gown at the 2026 SAG Actor Awards.
As for her favorite moments from last night’s Oscars? She has not one, but two. “One was presenting and handing the award to Cassandra [Kulukundis] for best casting,” says Infiniti. “And the other was getting to go on stage with my One Battle family after winning best picture. Both were such surreal moments!” The star even squeezed in some celebrating at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, too. “It was an incredible night of celebrating with the cast and crew,” says Infiniti. “We partied! This was our last night of all being together after this whirlwind since the movie came out, so we had to do it right.”
