Zara Larsson’s Midnight Sun came out in September last year—now, seven months later, the infectious pop album has everyone gearing up for a hot girl summer. “It will be the first time the album can actually exist in the summer, when people are hanging out with their friends or traveling,” Larsson told Vogue from her tour bus.

The singer’s upbeat tracks seem destined to serve as an idyllic summer 2026 soundtrack—and they perfectly match her tropical-leaning style these days, filled with colorful bikini tops, sarong skirts, and loads of glitter and rhinestones. “The playfulness of summer is so authentic to me, and I’m glad people are connecting with it,” she said. “I feel like the Mariah Carey of summer!” Today, Larsson is expanding her signature fashion aesthetic in an exciting new way—by releasing her own line of swimwear.

It was only matter of time: The pop star is introducing bikinis and one-piece swimsuits under her intimates brand, Main Rose, which she founded last year. “It just made 100% sense,” Larsson noted of the new category. “Summer at this point is a part of my personality and my brand—and swimwear is the ultimate summer staple.”

The new collectsion includes solid-colored one-pieces, as well as a colorful array of triangular bikini tops or Brazilian-cut briefs, tied at the sides to show even more skin. (Sizes range from XS to XXL, and prices go from roughly $35 to $80 USD. It drops fully on April 22.)

Naturally, the color palette revolvess around a joyful, beachy vibe—all designed in shades of pink, citrus, and red, with splashes of leopard prints and snake textures. “We had a fun time with the colors and patterns,” said Larsson. “I want people to feel really sexy—something they can wear to feel free, jump in the ocean, and have fun.”

The debut campaign for the collectsion was shot outside of Miami by Larsson’s frequent collaborator, photographer Charlotte Rutherford, and reflects the endless-summer vibe that’s part of Larsson’s musical and fashion identity. Frolicking is what she does best—whether on stage, in her music videos, or during her downtime. “If I have a few days off, I will always for sure go to the water,” said Larsson, who is shown swimming in the ocean in her new swimwear pieces. “Midnight Sun was my love [letter] to Swedish summers, where the sun just stays up. I love to be in Stockholm on my days off—and it’s surrounded by water.”

When designing the new line, Larsson imagined her fans in a wide range of situations—from wearing the tops with jeans at Coachella, to sporting the more-covered one-pieces for an ice bath in winter. “I am from Sweden, after all, and even though I try to ignore it, it definitely becomes really cold and icy,” said Larsson. “I’ve been doing ice baths—I do them every winter. If you’re lucky, you have a sauna close to you.”

For a more personal touch, meanwhile, all of the swimwear styles come with four detachable charms, including an acrylic nail and lucky number seven charm. (No dolphin charms—yet. “The dolphin meme is my mascot now,” joked Larsson. “That’s my soul sister!”)

The Main Rose swimwear is a clever evolution of her enduing beachy brand—but Larsson’s nowhere near done with this sunny era just yet. For starters, she will continue touring Midnight Sun throughout the summer, with shows through October. “It’s been very intense—the schedule has been crazy,” said Larsson of life on the road. “But it gives me so much energy to go out on stage every night.”

She also has a deluxe version of her hit album coming soon, where you can expect to hear Midnight Sun tracks with exciting new features and remixes. “It’s a chance for me to collaborate with some of my favorite artists,” she teased of the forthcoming album. (She has already released a new version of “Midnight Sun” with Muni Long.) “This era is something I’ve been working towards my whole life: I want to platform, uplift, collaborate, and work with more with women.”
