Louis Vuitton Brings the Stars for Its “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” Exhibition

“I feel like I’m wearing my armor,” said Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander at the former American Stock Exchange on Trinity Place last night for Louis Vuitton’s grand “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” exhibition opening. “Nicolas is an incredible artist. It’s not just clothes and fashion. He tells a story and pushes the boundaries of what fashion can be like,” Vikander added, dressed in one of Ghesquière’s straight-from-the-runway, Hamilton-ian jackets. Ghesquière brought together many of his famous faces, Vikander included, to celebrate the story of the trunk and Vuitton, but it also was evident that his message on the runways is part of an ongoing story.
