Giorgio Armani’s Annual Pre-Oscars Cocktail Party in Beverly Hills Was as Stylish as It Sounds
On the eve of the Oscars 2026, the Hollywood Hills were alive with the sound of clinking glasses, celebrating another successful year of film and the industry’s top talent. And when it comes to stylish soirees, no one does it quite like Giorgio Armani. On Saturday evening, Rodeo Drive was abuzz as an exclusive guest list gathered at the flagship boutique for the label’s annual cocktail party—a happy hour like no other, with no shortage of style and star power.
Just after 5 p.m., Heated Rivalry heartthrobs François Arnaud and Robbie G.K. were among the first to arrive through a throng of fans and onlookers swarming outside the store. Both looked sharp in all-black Armani looks, with Robbie G.K. opting for a tailored blazer and trousers and Arnaud in a collarless silk striped shirt and velvet pants. “When I went in for my fitting, this was the first thing I touched,” Robbie G.K. told Vogue of the winning ensemble. “I tried this on immediately, and that was it. That was all I needed to know.” Meanwhile, Arnaud had a particular reference in mind: “My look was a nod to one of my favorite movies of all time, Beetlejuice,” he laughed. “An Armani fitting is hard because everything fits so perfectly. But this was the most different from what I’d worn before.”
It wasn’t long before the Michael Chow–designed flagship’s main floor was filled with famous faces. Weaving through the crowd were Ginnifer Goodwin and Kerry Condon, who could be seen sipping cocktails and mingling with guests, while Abbott Elementary’s Janelle James browsed the Armani Beauty counter in a long-sleeve LBD that she said was an ode to her native New Yorker style. Across the room, Minnie Driver showed off one of the most unique designs of the night: a black velvet tank featuring a crystal-embellished portrait of the late Giorgio Armani. “It’s a pretty snazzy top,” Driver said. “I also think, in a weekend where I am wearing a lot of big dresses, I wanted to wear pants and a top.”
Around 6:30 p.m. a frenzy of fans clamored around the Armani doors, marking the superstar-like arrival of Hudson Williams. Greeting members of the Armani team with warm hugs, the actor made his way to the upper level, joining fellow Canadian and Love Story star Paul Anthony Kelly, who had taken a leaf from John F. Kennedy Jr.’s ’90s-style playbook in a double-breasted suit.
On the suspended balcony, Macaulay Culkin danced with his wife, Brenda Song, playfully spinning her around to show off their matching sleek black looks. “We wanted to be casual but chic,” Song said, while Culkin flashed his matching noir-painted manicure. Song and Culkin weren’t the only ones enjoying an Armani date night. It was a Landman reunion for Jon Hamm and Ali Larter, who were accompanied by their respective spouses, Anna Osceola and Hayes MacArthur. Samuel L. Jackson and his wife, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, also joined the party and were spotted taking photos with their goddaughter, Jurnee Smollett. “Armani is just effortlessly sexy,” Larter said of her sleeveless gown, equipped with an embellished cage-knit bodice. “A lot of the time, I’m corseted in and everything’s tight and uncomfortable, but this is just easy—and I feel cool.”
Armani’s effortless, easy-to-wear elegance seemed to be the theme of the night for all guests, including Yara Shahidi. “I like to feel like, Oh, this is something I would actually wear,” she told Vogue of choosing her look, a draped, forest green top with matching chiffon pants. “It has to feel like an extension of you.”
