Nordstrom Celebrates Summer Out East at Amber Waves Farm

If there’s any one person single-handedly fueling the Hamptons party scene this summer, it’s Joey Wölffer—more specifically, her vineyard’s rosé. It’s been served and splashed into wine glasses all summer long and it’s what was served at this most recent Friday night’s dinner, co-hosted by Wölffer and Nordstrom's Rickie De Sole and Gigi Ganatra.

The sunset dinner took place at Amagansett's Amber Waves Farm, which proved the ideal setting for a farm-to-table dinner. For the occasion, a long table placed was placed by the farm’s flower crops, and upon it, a gorgeous tablescape by Misette. The sister-run, NYC-based tabletop label had recently launched at Nordstrom, so they were the perfect label to help bring the dinner to life.

“I just loved the colors!” said De Sole of the resulting decor, which featured squiggly trimmed placemats and checked patterned dishes. “Amber Waves Farm and a vibrant sunset made for the perfect backdrop to celebrate summer with friends,” she continued.

De Sole and her co-hosts Ganatra, and Wölffer, brought out a crowd that included Katie Couric, Tanya Taylor, Cynthia Rowley, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Tamron Hall, Alina Cho, Selby Drummond, and Vogue’s Willow Lindley. From the guests to their ensembles to the farm setting, the assemblage made for a very photogenic evening.
