This week, celebrity beauty was focused on getting party ready. Dua Lipa hit the club for her last night of tour in Auckland, New Zealand—putting on a face of sheer and glowy glam to dance the night away. Keke Palmer played host for the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards and let her long, auburn mermaid curls down, and Tyla took to the stage of Coachella with intricate cornrows and braids. Dixie D’Amelio became the next proponent of the bleached brows trend, and Doja Cat went full ’80s glam—complete with coiffed and backcombed hair a la Janet Jackson. Kylie Jenner stepped out to celebrate her Sprinter drinks brand with a star spangled manicure, while nail artists Betina Goldstein (who has previously appeared in our Beauty Marks round-up) and Viviane Lee Hsu presented their own imaginative and exquisitely detailed takes on current nail trends.

Tyla’s intricate cornrows and braids
Kicking off weekend one of Coachella festival, Tyla took to the stage with a curled crop of hair and a series of exquisite cornrows. Her hair is often crafted by Malcolm Marquez—who Doechii tapped for her incredible run of looks at the most recent Paris Fashion Week.

Dixie D’Amelio’s bleached brows
Dixie D’Amelio headed out to H&M’s Music Festival in Los Angeles, headlined by Doechii, Robyn, and Jamie XX. Dixie followed a more elevated take on festival dressing, opting for a gothic corset dress. To go with the look, she debuted some bleached brows—making her the latest in a spate of celebrities to lighten up, including Jenna Ortega and Miley Cyrus. She kept her auburn hair extra long and tousled for an alluring contrast.

Keke Palmer’s mermaid curls
Keke Palmer took up hosting duties for the third annual Fashion Trust U.S. Awards, a night about celebrating and supporting the country’s most exciting, burgeoning fashion designing talent. Keke upped the wow factor from her champagne, sparkly Oscar de la Renta archival gown with XXL mermaid curls in her now signature auburn tone, courtesy of hairstylist Davontae Washington.

Doja Cat has heard that the ’80s are so back, so gave the glam to prove it. With Doja dressed in sequined Balmain, hairstylist Jared Henderson—aka JStayReady—understood the assignment of amping up the hair a la primetime Janet Jackson, with a big, boujie tousled blowout. The rest of her beauty comprised of darkly pencilled lips, a smoky cat eye, and pencil thin brows.

Following her Broadway debut in the box office record-breaking Romeo & Juliet, Tommy Dorfman is currently starring in a new play, Becoming Eve, off-Broadway. Her bobbed hair, by Blake Erik, was parted in the middle and set in loose, glossy curls.

Nail artist Viviane Lee Hsu—aka @cyshimi—is known for her futuristic nail designs: Think laser decals and extra long acid-toned nails. This week, she debuted a set of claws with studs—keeping in rhythm with the studs we saw on the runway this season.

The extremely funny Hacks celebrated its fourth season with a glitzy premiere, and castmember Meg Stalter looked resplendent in full red latex and leather.
