Welcome back to Beauty Marks: Vogue’s weekly edition of the best moments in celebrity beauty, from Vogue editors’ IG feeds, and all the glam of the fashion and pop culture landscapes. As always, it’s as much about celebrity beauty as it is about the makeup artists, hairstylists, and nail artists, as well as the creators crafting the trends you’re about to see everywhere.
This week, beauty went big: bombshell hair and sculptural add-ons, entire art pieces created on eyelids and manicures, bold creative concepts for shoots and red carpet moments alike. Sabrina Carpenter dropped her Man’s Best Friend album, as well as a Rocky Horror-inspired music video for “Tears”—with glitzy glam to match. Lady Gaga stepped out for a Wednesday event, and walked the red carpet with star Jenna Ortega in an evil clown-esque fit, with undead makeup and some gargantuan millinery. The U.S. Open also kicked off, and Naomi Osaka worked with hairstylist Marty Harper on a special, heritage-honoring look. We also got some celestial glam check-ins with Zendaya and Caught Stealing’s Zoe Kravitz.

To complete her gothic clown look, Sarah Tanno leaned in with pale-faced glam and an undead lip shade using Haus Labs, while Federic Aspiras fashioned her hair around some impressive millinery.

Naomi Osaka got out on the court representing Japan against Greet Minnen of Belgium at the 2025 U.S. Open. Here, Marty Harper crafted a look that met the moment.
Her intricately braided hair look came complete with 14 3D printed and crystallized rose hair pieces (with matching headphones) by creative studio A-Morir. Harper, assisted by afro-braids specialist and hairstylist Tiana Amani, created a concept that speaks to her heritage and her journey as an artist and athlete. More to come, we hope.
