Welcome back to Beauty Marks: the weekly edition of Vogue’s best moments in celebrity beauty, as well as the glam of the fashion and pop culture landscapes. It’s as much about celebrity beauty as it is about the makeup artists, hairstylists, and nail artists, as well as the creators crafting the trends you’ll soon be taking up yourself.
This week, all eyes were on the steps of the Met, as the 2025 Met Gala took place. Themed “Tailored For You” and in celebration of the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” exhibition, the subject of the Black Dandy is one who shines in the details. And at the Met, people took their beauty moment: From Lupita Nyong’o and Chappell Roan’s blinged up eyebrows to Doechii’s Louis Vuitton-stamped facial embellishment, A$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams’s grillz, Cynthia Erivo’s sparkling mani, and Megan Thee Stallion’s Josephine Baker-inspired hair.
But the rest of the beauty world didn’t pause serving—from Ariana DeBose’s continuation of the retro kiss curl trend, which we saw more than once among the Met Gala attendees, to yards and yards of bombshell blowouts courtesy of Kali Uchis and Pabllo Vittar. Elsewhere, Sarah Paulson topped off a demure Miu Miu look with a cheeky cherry red lip, while Rivals’ Nafessa Williams returned to the red carpet with a sultry shimmering eye. Bella Hadid, meanwhile, celebrated the one year anniversary of her skin parfum brand Orebella with a birthday cake-esque color palette and big rollers, and Irish musician CMAT rang in her latest music video with nostalgic prom night-ready beauty.

Sarah Paulson stepped out with the rest of the girls (Paloma Elsesser and Alexa Chung to name a few) to attend the latest Miu Miu Tales & Tellers event in New York. She topped off her full Miu Miu look with a glossy, cherry red lip, and slicked down her recently chopped bob.

Irish singer-songwriter CMAT is priming for the release of her third album EURO-COUNTRY later this summer; in the meantime, she’s dropped a kaliedoscopic visual for album track “Take a Sexy Picture of Me”—where one could be vicious, CMAT is only vibrant, taking down the freaks online who have body-shamed her in the past with a colorful, joyous video, and glam to match. Her pink pastel and ’80s opulent makeup is by Niall Candy, with prom queen hair by Jessie Whelan.

Joy Adenuga—tapped by Halle Bailey, India Amarteifio, among others for glowing screen star glam—gave Rivals’ Nafessa Williams her BAFTAs party-ready beauty look. Aside from that gloriously shimmering eye and precise swoop of eyeliner, that warm blush is Haus Labs’ Color Fuse Blush, with a swipe of Armani Beauty’s Lip Maestro Liquid Lipstick. Yasmin Simone coiffed her voluminous, curled bob.

It’s Sincerely week! Kali Uchis dropped her spiritual, sensual, sweet fifth album, and with it, a run of gorgeous press run beauty looks. One particular standout revelled in the springtime color palette, with blooms of lavender on the eyes and bombshell curls to match.
