I own more turtleneck sweaters than I’d choose to admit, and yet it’s tough for me to resist the pull of this one by new knitwear label PH5. I really like the slightly curvilinear ribbings—plus at just above $200, I feel as if the cost-per-wear is going to be as good as it gets.

A cardigan feels really good to me right now layered under an oversize jacket. I like to be cozy when the weather turns cold.

I am perpetually on the hunt for the perfect chunky white turtleneck. It’s my white whale . . . I always love Bella Freud’s cool-girl graphic knits; and I’m long overdue at Nili Lotan, for her latest comfortable spin on the classics. But really, my fall vibe is typically somewhere around ’70s babysitter, and for that, Miu Miu is pretty on the money.

My sweaters are rather drab and tend to dilute whatever I have on under them, but since realistically I am always in them when it’s chilly, especially in our highly air-conditioned office, I’ve decided statement sweaters are the right move. I have my eye on this one from Dries Van Noten.

This fall I want to wear the Vince cashmere slouchy sweater in gray and in black. Oversize and warm, it’s a great fall layering piece.

I love oversize, cozy knits in the winter. Babaà makes beautiful, handmade sweaters in Spain using eco-friendly fabrics. I’ll be keeping warm in this navy number all season.

For some reason or another, this neon pink men’s Acne Studios sweater is speaking to me this fall. I’m thinking it would be a nice touch to add some joy to an otherwise drab season.

Leave it to Kate Wendelborn, the founder of Protagonist, to come up with my new favorite knits. I’ve got one insanely plush number from her label Wendelborn already, which I can’t wait to break out—but that doesn’t stop me from coveting a second! This cream cable-knit number from their debut lineup is to die for, and the brand’s sweaters come in the coolest cut: slightly cropped and with long, finger-grazing sleeves—perfection.

I love cozying up in a giant, supersoft sweater as much as the next girl, but by January, I’m pretty sick of being covered from head to toe. This russet Tibi sweater takes care of that—a single shoulder cut-out lets a sliver of skin peek through, which feels refreshing on a dreary, bone-chilling day.

Luckily, I already bought my fall sweater. It’s a thrifted Tommy Hilfiger number from the ’90s—with that delicious flag logo stamped on the chest!

J.Crew men’s V-neck cashmere sweaters are my go-to. This season I’d like to add the light gray color to my collectsion. Tip: Buy these in a larger size to ensure maximum comfort.

If I were only allowed to splurge on one sweater this season, it’d be this Victoria Beckham one. I’d undoubtedly snuggle up in it all season long. With a slightly loose fit, extra-long sleeves, and that to-die-for trimming, well, let’s just say you can count me in. All the way.

Leather leggings and long-sleeves are my everything, so I’m quite literally counting down to colder weather. For day to day I’ll be stocking up on oversize Uniqlo cashmere, but this statement piece from Gucci is perfection in my eyes. It’s got just the right amount of color, and I love the dropped-shoulder puffed sleeves. It also helps that cats are my spirit animal.

Every fall I find myself looking for the perfect ribbed sweater. Last year I bought the J.Crew ones in three different colors, this year I’ve stocked up on this Babaton sweater from Aritzia in two colors. They are good alternatives to white tees when the temperature drops and also the price point is amazing!

I saw this sweater by Khaite on Sally and am dying for one of my own—it’s oversized, but the high slits on the side indicate that you have a body underneath.

I spent too much time in maternitywear to embrace the super-boxy looks, but I am madly in love with Brunello Cucinelli’s high-necked ribbed sweater in deep red. I have a thing for three-quarter-length sleeves, and cashmere never hurts.
