A Look Inside the Best Emmys After-Parties—From Nostalgic TV Reunions to A-list Extravaganzas
The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards was nothing short of lively. FX’s The Bear swept all the awards for each category they were nominated for, prompting a passionate, slightly long chef’s kiss from co-stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Matty Matheson. Pedro Pascal took a jab at Kieran Culkin, keeping the friendly feud alive by hilariously accusing the Succession star of causing his shoulder injury. Niecy Nash brought the audience to life with her acceptance speech thanking none other than herself (as she rightfully should), while Natasha Lyonne and Tracee Ellis Ross brought ’50s nostalgia by recreating the iconic chocolate factory sequence from the classic cable sitcom I Love Lucy.
Jokes crash landed, former castmates reunited, and some much-needed laughter echoed through Los Angeles’ Peacock Theatre—and the stars made sure to bring the same energy into last night’s line-up of after-parties. Below is a look at the best, most electrifying after-parties from last night’s memorable festivities.
At The Governor’s Gala After-Party, Statuettes Were on Full Display
The Los Angeles Convention Center was gilded in gold, and so were last night’s Emmy winners at the Governor’s Gala after-party who proudly showed off their coveted trophies. Beef’s Lee Sung Jin, who snagged awards for both Writing and Directing For A Limited Series, and Steven Yeun, who won in the Best Actor In A Limited Series category, let their statuettes out in full display for attendees to bask in their glory. Other winners, such as Sarah Snook, RuPaul, and Quinta Brunson, opted for a more ritzy showcase as they danced with their awards in hand.
The Cast of The White Lotus, Succession, and The Last of Us Celebrated Their Wins at The HBO Max Emmy Reception Party
The stars of Max’s biggest hits dazzled at the HBO Max Emmy Reception Party. The San Vicente Bungalows were aglow with the glimmering reflection of the evening’s awards. Succession stars and Roy siblings Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook celebrated their respective victories with co-stars Nicholas Braun and Arian Moayed. Meanwhile, the cast of The White Lotus took over the dance floor, with co-stars-turned-couple Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodall coming front and center. And just outside, The Last of Us’ Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal took a breather from the evening’s whirlwind of festivities.
The Stars Put on Their Dancing Shoes The Netflix Primetime Emmys After-Party
The Netflix stars definitely know how to throw a party. With their best dance shoes on, former Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl, who made a grand return to the Emmys red carpet after a decade-long hiatus, stunned in a red Reem Acra gown, twirling around the dance floor—even spotted putting in her next song request at the DJ booth on multiple occasions. Not too far away, Dahmer co-stars Evan Peters and Niecy Nash boogied down to celebrate Nash’s win (and iconic speech), while Dave Chapelle, Giancarlo Esposito, and Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos were chatting it up in the corner. Also in attendance were The Crown’s Khalid Abdalla, Beef’s Ali Wong, and Dynasty doyenne Joan Collins.
Alexander Skarsgård, Ariana DeBose, Kieran Culkin, and more gathered at Michael Braun’s Emmy After-Party
Hollywood insiders know where to go for a good time once one of the many award season ceremonies wraps: Michael Braun's house, of course. With cocktails provided by LALO Tequila, guests toasted the 75th Annual Emmy Awards and danced until the early morning. Heartthrobs Alexander Skarsgård and James Marsden mingled by the fireplace with friends, with a perfect view of the sunset strip behind them. Inside, multi-award-winning actor Ariana DeBose embraced Succession stand-out Kieran Culkin (who clutched his Emmy and Golden Globe for his performance as Roman Roy) alongside fellow actors Karen Gillan and more. Other Emmy Victors spotted at the fet included Quinta Brunson and Beef creator Lee Sung Jin (whose Netflix series won big, taking home 5 Emmy awards).
Harrison Ford, Jason Sudeikis, and More Gathered for Negronis and Martinis at the Apple TV+ After-Party
A-listers, including Harrison Ford, Jason Sudeikis, and Stephen Colbert, gathered not too far away from the snazzy post-show celebrations at the Italian trattoria Mother Wolf. Dirty martinis and fruity negronis were overflowing at the swanky venue, where attendees danced to DJ Pee Wee AKA Anderson .Paak’s set of groovy tunes. Of course, the life of the party was none other than Emmy winner Paul Walter Hauser, who took home the award for Best Supporting Actor In A Limited Series for his role in the true crime mini-series Blackbird.
