Photographed by Austin Simkins6/12“I really like to skate on the fly and I don’t live near a skate park, so I’ll usually just hop on my board to leave to go get coffee. Some days, though, I’ll drive around looking for a new, random place to skate. It keeps me on my toes.”

Photographed by Austin Simkins8/12“My rule of thumb for days spent skating is that I do it as often as I can. I know I need to practice to keep it up and so I really try to get on my board at least a few times a week.”
Photographed by Austin Simkins9/12“This is probably my most frequented restaurant with skate vibes. They totally had me with their meal consisting of a draft Pilsner and buffalo cauliflower. Mohawk Bend also has a rotating list of beers, which keeps me stoked.”

I typically order a slice of vegan cheese pizza and a San Pellegrino Limonata. It’s also attached to a cool bar where you can order and get a slice through the wall via your bartender. It’s a fail-proof combo, let’s be real.”
