“My go-to holiday party accessory this season is going to be the Attico pouch. I can’t get enough of them and they’re such a great price point, too. They even would look great with a T-shirt and jeans.”

“I know chokers are trendy, but I don't care! I loved them in the ’90s, I love them now, and I am wearing this (subtly) spiked one by Alexis Bittar to all the holiday parties!”

“I only recently started wearing earrings again and have been attached to this modernist drop version from Céline. Even when I’m at my laziest and wear a simple black turtleneck and trousers to a holiday party, I can count on these earrings to add the perfect amount of dressiness to my otherwise blasé outfit—I’d take a slight hint of chic over flashy, holiday-esque bedazzle any day.”

“Nothing screams holiday quite like a pair of embellished “I just threw these on” Prada mules. Find me a heel that’s more comfortable, versatile, or elegant.”

“When it comes to jewelry, I generally just wear the same pieces every day. So if I’m looking to add a little something extra to my look, I’ll usually start with my shoes or a scarf. Truth be told, if I were a man, I’d be rocking a cravat any chance I got. So this year, my must-have holiday party accessory is this silk piece from Balenciaga. It’s bold and vibrant, but still with a hint of masculinity. Perfect.”

“As for me, I am a fan of the over-the-top vintage choker. I switch between a couple—a pink floral one from an antique store in Brooklyn, and a vine pattern made of electric blue stones that I found at a thrift shop in rural Italy. They are both so bright and festive they call attention away from the special-occasion dress that I am probably not wearing.”

“December is often one of the busiest months between cocktail parties, dinners, and end-of-year galas therefore, the one thing that always saves the day is a pair of shoes. My current staple? Saint Laurent’s Chelsea boot in suede, which grounds a suit or jeans with subtle texture. And just in case I’m racing from the office with a few stops, Victoria Beckham’s posh pouch in midnight blue pairs perfectly with a velvet dinner jacket or formalwear, and can hold all the invites in style.”

“For me it’s all about an understated mini bag. Something about the mini size make it evening appropriate. Right now I am coveting a mini red Prada (festive!), a Mark Cross Grace mini, and a Saint Laurent pouch mini. I’m sort of anti glitter acrylic clutches, even though they seem the most holiday appropriate. I’d be too worried about dropping and cracking my thousand-dollar clutch to actually have fun! Better to stick to something soft leather and that can take you from black-tie holiday to summer soiree!”
