Photo: Whitefashion Photographer1/23Max and I have always loved Italy and Lake Como. It is obviously one of the country's most iconic places, and we have great combined memories there—so it was the perfect location for our wedding.
Photo: Whitefashion Photographer2/23This is the Oscar de la Renta wedding dress I selected at Vakko Wedding House in Istanbul. When I saw the dress preserved in a glass box like a museum piece, I knew I had to try it on. I was so happy that I found a dress that was not simple, but that I was also very comfortable in.
Photo: Whitefashion Photographer3/23I opted for a 3-meter Oscar de la Renta veil with hand-stitched flowers across it to match the dress.

Photo: Whitefashion Photographer19/23Our tables were decorated with roses, and the menu was accented with olive leaves. There were place cards with baby’s breath on each napkin.
Photo: Whitefashion Photographer20/23Crystal chandeliers with floral garland decorated the roof of the tent.
Photo: Whitefashion Photographer21/23Our first dance was to a song from Romeo and Juliet performed by an opera singer.
Photo: Whitefashion Photographer22/23We cut our cake in front of the villa so that everyone could watch overlooking the lake.
Our cake was accented with floral garland, and the icing was made to look like lace. The tablescape was finished off with small candles and a greenery base.
