Loewe and Mytheresa Welcomed Summer With a Bash Under the Stars

This weekend, Loewe and Mytheresa collaborated on an event at Los Angeles's iconic Sheats-Goldstein residence to celebrate the partnership between the two and the arrival of Loewe Paula's Ibiza at the luxury retailer.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with cocktails and a serene koi pond bordered by rushing waterfalls. The glass walls and doors of John Lautner's architectural gem revealed a living room that opened up to a pool and the city skyline beyond. Every corner of the residence was adorned with Loewe candles or anthuriums, filling the space with a beautiful and fragrant ambiance. Notable guests such as Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, and Ali Wong socialized on the house's leather benches, sipping Champagne or Negronis amidst lively conversations.

Guests eventually ascended to the patio where an impressive 100-foot table awaited, adorned with floral arrangements, Loewe printed linens, and even more glowing Loewe candles. Mytheresa CEO Michael Kigler toasted the location's architectural and pop culture significance to kick things off. "Many movies were set here, including The Big Lebowski, one of my favorites,” said Kigler. “As the big Lebowski says, 'the dude abides. In the flow.' Thank you all for coming and enjoy the rest of the evening." In attendance were Jonathan Anderson, Dan Levy, Taylor Russel, Greta Lee, Ali Wong, Young Mazino, Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, and more.

After dessert, guests descended to the after-party, lured by the neon "Loewe Club Mytheresa" sign. Aminé, Kaytranada, Fai Khadra, and Lakeith Stanfield were among the new wave of guests who had already arrived and settled in. Attendees mingled across the outdoor bar, where inviting clusters of Loewe-branded bean bags sat on the grass. Or, they could make their way to the upstairs bar, which boasted a dance floor and tables that could hold their own in any of LA's nightclubs. Even the house's owner, James Goldstein, made an appearance in his trademark leather hat.

Guests, clad in Loewe Paula's Ibiza's vibrant, spirited designs, energized the dance floor until late into the night. It felt like the first day of summer in Los Angeles, leaving all attendees eagerly anticipating the sun-kissed days to come as they ventured back into the night.
