Our first glimpse of Corey Tenold’s backstage coverage at London Fashion Week gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect. Things started on a high note with a pretty-meets-witchy collectsion from Matty Bovan—think: upholstery florals, giant ruffles, and multicolored knits with an underlying “creepiness”—and we saw more artful collectsions from the students at Central Saint Martins. London’s shows are reliably fantastical and boundary-pushing—we’re looking forward to JW Anderson, Richard Quinn, and Molly Goddard, too—and Corey Tenold is backstage at all of them to shoot the hair and makeup, the models, and all the preshow fun.
